1989 Pro Set Michael Irvin RC

Third receiver in the 1988 NFL Draft, picked 11th after the Raiders grabbed Tim Brown at #6 and the Packers selected Sterling Sharpe at #7.  This is actually one that Green Bay didn't get wrong, Sharpe was on his way to a HOF career before, like Irvin, his playing days were shortened by a neck injury.  (Though Irvin got several more years in before his spinal injury.)  Just imagine Favre having Sharpe to pass to for five or six more years.  Too bad.
