Like the patch card added earlier, this is a THICC card.  Gordon made his MLB debut long after this card was produced, in 2021.  Nick was the Twins' starting second baseman this season, before fouling a pitch off his leg, breaking the tibia.  Currently on the 60-day DL.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to this group of cards?  Not really.  Here's the rationale for letting each one go.

Bonds: That's just one of the best looking inserts of the early 1990s.  The primary color splashes on the black border?  Chef's kiss.  I already completed this insert set, so this one needs to find a second home.

LaRussa: I don't like the way he's looking at me.  And I hate him.

Thomas: No explanation needed.
